The most-polarizing figure in sports, in possibly, the most-polarizing city in not just the United States, but the world. When the two meet, the largest statement in basketball this year is made.
Bron brought out 2 custom "LeBron 15" sneakers with one message on them: "EQUALITY." Now, Bron broke out the black ones in the first game of the season this year, but like I said, now he's in the BIG city, so the statement has to be bigger!
This time, he mismatched the black with a white shoe, with the same message of equality, but with a bigger overall meaning of UNITY by using the two most-conflicting colors in our country - white & black.
With Bron's outspokenness since the emergence of Trump in office, I've gained a ton of respect for him. Way more than I've had over the past 7 years due to him leaving Cleveland, but I've buried that beef. A statement like this, boosts his legacy even higher in my eyes.
